Holy Trinity Swiss Cottage Church
in London, United Kingdom
Holy Trinity Swiss Cottage Church is an example of a London church that have ceased to reply to an inquiry, and that may be disguising a discriminatory intent based on errant presumption through a false age-related reason. Initially the church office invited participation at their young adults café, but after the church office had been reading my international plea to churches (http://www.kyrkor.be/Inhumane_Swedish_Pastors.pdf), their church office reverted the initial invitation into a prejudiced rejection, and a succeeding refusal to reply or explain. The pastor/vicar of the church wrote that he hopes that I find a church elsewhere “without your hopes for finding a spouse pre-occupying your daily life”.

Holy Trinity Swiss Cottage.
Hello,
Am I banned from your church café? If
so, for what reason?
I can see that your church is refusing any
communication with me. Why are you secretive about your café? Why do you refuse
to communicate?
For most churches in London, the age category Young Adults are described and 20's nad 30's. After having sent to your church my bi-monthly prayer request, your church reverted from a welcoming attitude for participation in your Café with a motivation that your Young Adults group is only for people in the age category 18-25. Your changed attitude, from a welcome to a rejection, is suspected to be related to the bi-monthly letter that you received for the first time. Therefore, I want to know the truth regarding your stated reason that you did not want to welcome me.
What was the actual turnout of ages
among the participants to the Red Sky Café on Thursday, June 21. How many
persons were older than 25?
Regards,
Torsten Nenzen

Dear Torsten
Thank you for your recent messages. I am sorry but
we would not divulge this information.
I just want to encourage you to keep your eyes focused on Jesus through whom we
have access to the love of God which is our greatest need. As we surrender all
our human hopes and desires to the Lord, we find our peace and joy in Him.
I
hope that you are able to find a Christian community where you are living
in which you can take your place, bring your gifts, without your hopes for
finding a spouse pre-occupying your daily life with Jesus.
Every blessing in our living Lord
Andy
Come to me all you who are weary and heaven laden and I will give you rest Matt

HI torsten,
I am sorry to hear of all the trouble you have had. I will pray that you find
peace in your current situation.
After reading your email,
I don't think the group I recommended to you
(on Thurs night)
is the right fit.
As I mentioned in my previous email, the group is for young adults. What
I meant by that is people in the age range of 18-25. I'm sorry I should
have mentioned the target age. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may
have caused you.
blessings,
Jeanie Hosken

HI Torsten,
There is not a street number. The cafe is in the church which is directly opposite the Finchley rd tube station.
Perhaps will see you Thurs!

Hi Jeanie Hosken,
Thanks for a tangible and constructive suggestion. Is this the café (Red Sky Café) that you are referring to http://htsc.org/Groups/102193/Holy_Trinity_Swiss/Red_Sky_Cafe/Red_Sky_Cafe.aspx ? What is the street number to that Finchley Road café please?
It is likely that I will visit the cafe next Thursday at 7pm.
Best regards,

Hi Torsten,
Thanks for your email. We don't have any specific gatherings for Christian
singles at our church. However, we are piloting a new ministry for
young adults in our cafe next Thurs evening (the
21st). It is likely most people who attend will be single although that is not a
prerequisite to be included. It starts at 7 pm. You are very welcome to join us!
Do let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Subject: Christian relationships
Holy Trinity Swiss Cottage,
Hi.
I am a Christian single man visiting here in London for some time. I seek a Christian community where I also can find opportunities to fellowship, socialise, meet and talk with other Christian singles. As many people understand; without interpersonal communication Christian relationships between opposite genders cannot emerge.
Are there opportunities in your congregation where also single Christians can meet and communicate?
Also, is there any individual in your church involved in street evangelism?

Torsten Nenzen
