The suspicious and dishonest “CrossCulture Church of Christ” in Melbourne, Australia, obstructed an innocently excommunicated person from joining Christian community in their church by demanding a private meeting without explanation, declined to provide reason for their demanded secrecy, and refused further transparent communication, thus covertly excommunicating the innocent Christian.
I visited “CrossCulture Church of Christ” in Melbourne on four Sundays, twice filled in their visitor card with my contact details and a request to join in their community groups and personally handed over the visitor card to their welcome desk representatives, and sent repeated emails to their church office with the same request to join in fellowship groups.
All the staff and pastors of CrossCulture Church of Christ, beginning with their pastors Allen Baker and his colleague Lou Di Lorenzo, are evidently more interested in maintaining their collegial loyalty than they are concerned about truth, justice, righteousness, benevolence and love. The common thread among the pastors of this “CrossCulture Church” is their resoluteness to refuse Christlike and accountable communication and to refuse to welcome an innocently excommunicated Christian. In this, the pastors of CrossCulture Church act on behalf of satan.
Although one office staff (Felice Yananto) did eventually propose a Tuesday evening group to me, of course without disclosing a location, satan quickly interfered through the pastors of the church to obstruct God’s will for Torsten.
CrossCulture “Church” is similar to most churches in Melbourne. As with most churches in Melbourne, Australia, satan operates through church governance. The evils of many (most) church-pastors in Melbourne are a testimony to how satan has hijacked most churches, also in Melbourne.
I am absolutely innocent in relation to all excommunications from churches. Therefore, satan thrives on church-pastors’ sustainment and dissemination of church-pastoral lies. Satan’s lies through unrepentant church-pastors are defeated by exposure.
The complete dialogue with “CrossCulture Church” in Melbourne is read chronologically from the bottom upwards, beneath:

why excommunicated from fellowship? |
CrossCulture Church of Christ,
Your church was given several opportunities to explain your act of interference against my intention to fellowship with other Christian singles in smaller groups. Instead of replying, your church has refused to answer my basic questions regarding your intent, your purpose, your eventual questions(s) and statement(s).
Your church staff have procrastinated my query for opportunities to socialize. One of your pastors (Allen Baker) has expressed personal hostility against me with allegation against me that I am a problem, and allusion that my intentions are dishonourable. And, another pastor (Lou Di Lorenzo) seems to fear honesty, truth and transparency and he therefore simply refuses to communicate openly with me.
What is the reason that your church has excommunicated me from attendance in your small groups?
Regards,
Torsten Nenzen

Hello Lou Di Lorenzo,
As a somewhat intelligent and very church-experienced person, I know that pastors can be extremely hypocritical, duplicitous, errantly presuming, lying, malicious and evil. Because of this knowledge, I understand perfectly to lift everything murky to the surface.
So before I speak with you in person, I would like to see truth and transparency come from your keyboard.
- Why do you want to speak with me in person?
- What is your purpose with a meeting with me?
- Which question(s) do want to ask?
- Since I have no agenda to speak a message to you, what message do you want to say to me?
I look forward to your answers.
Regards,
Torsten

Torsten, thanks for getting back to me.
As a pastor of this church who has been here for a long time, I know that there are people of many different cultures and background who attend this church. Because of this understanding one another from different backgrounds is important.
So[?] before we do put you into one of our small groups, I would like to meet with you first.
Our church office is in the city just next to the church and I am happy to meet with you during the week (except Wednesdays) or on Sunday.
Just let me know.

Christian relationships |
Hi Lou Di Lorenzo,
Thank-you for writing back to me. I appreciate also your openness to meet personally and communicate with me.
The fact that things have been very busy during Easter for your church is fully understandable, as Easter/Pesach normally are busier times for churches.
I would certainly be happy to shake your hand and have quick chat if we encounter each other upon a future Sunday visit.
Nevertheless, it should not be necessary to delay three weeks to invite into a small group, as it now has been more than three weeks since I first communicated my interest to meet with others in a similar phase of life and pursuits.
Last Friday April 5, one of your church staff suggested a Tuesday evening group. I said that I would like to join that group.
Where in the city? Time? Contact person?
Best regards,
Torsten Nenzen

RE: Christian relationships |
Torsten,
My name is Pastor Lou Di Lorenzo from CrossCulture Church of Christ. I preached at the church on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
I understand that you are looking to join a small group. I am sorry that it has taken a little time to do this.
At the church it has been busy over the Easter period so some things have not be able to happen as smoothly as they normally do.
At our church we have many visitors from different parts of the world and as I am sure you have seen there are many people in our church from a lot of different countries.
I have been at CrossCulture Church for many years and met many different and interesting people from all over the world.
I would love to meet up with you, to get to know you a little more and help you find a good place in our community of faith.
I am happy to meet up with you on Sunday or during the week at our church office.
I am around most days except Wednesdays.
Looking forward to hearing and meeting up with you.

Obligated to “meet up”. Later shunned & covertly excommunicated.

Christian relationships |
CrossCulture Church of Christ,
Hi.
I am a Christian single man visiting here in Melbourne for several months to begin with. While I am here in Melbourne, I seek a Christian community where I also might find opportunities to fellowship, socialise, meet and talk with other Christian singles.
I have filled in two visitor cards requesting to join small groups for singles. I have visited your church on three Sundays. And I have sent several emails requesting to join small groups for singles.
Are there opportunities in your congregation where also single Christians can meet and communicate - and build relationships?
Additionally, I would like to know if the attitude and words of "pastor" Allen Baker is representative for CrossCulture Church of Christ who adversarially approached me on Sunday April 7 with allegations against me that I am a problem, and with allusions that my intentions are dishonourable. Allen Baker asked me in an unfriendly tone "What is your intention?". I answered "My intent is to meet people. I am here to meet people." Allen Baker then stated in a hostile tone that I had a problem of some sort "Your problem is ...". Allen Baker then also alluded that my intentions are not honourable as he stated "We have people coming here to meet people who do not have honourable intentions to meet people."
Are these words and attitude representative for your church? Is your church procrastinating my inquiry for opportunities to meet with other Christian singles due to a similar attitude towards me?
Best regards,
Torsten Nenzén

Hi Felice Yananto,
Thanks for responding.
Optimally, I would like to visit one group every evening and meet lots of new people. That's what I am primarily here for. Tuesdays are perfect, as almost any other day. So yes, I would like to join that Tuesday evening group.
Where in the city? Time? Contact person?
Best regards,

Hi Torsten,
Great to hear from you. Unfortunately there is no specific group for singles only as our groups are morr diverse. Each group has certain percentage of singles. I will find out which group has more singles and let you know. One that i can think of is a tuesday evening group. If tuesday evening is good for you in the city, we can give it a try.
Have a blessed day!
God bless,
Felice

Re: Greetings from CrossCulture Church of Christ |
Dear Felice Yananto,
Thank-you for extending a warm welcome.
I would like to join in small groups where there are opportunities to meet and communicate also with Christian singles. If there is a group exclusively for singles, then that would be the group that I would want to join. And if there are groups where the attendants are predominantly singles, then those groups would be of interest. My preference of day & time is not a priority compared with preference of meeting other Christian singles.
Best regards,
