Although C3 church in Sydney was keen to promote an outsourced parachurch community of dubious “Christians” and non-Christians, their “church” refused to welcome to any fellowship, and arrogantly evaded to respond to my repeated inquiries about fellowship opportunities among Christians.

Because the C3 Church in Sydney latterly refused to reply to my repeated inquiry about attending Christian fellowship opportunities, the C3 church effectually excommunicated Torsten. Dishonesty and cowardice resort to evasion of communication.

1) Are there opportunities in your congregation where also single Christians can meet and communicate - and build relationships?

2) Are there fellowship groups, community groups, cell groups or small groups that I can attend?

It is reasonable to understand at this stage that C3 has in effect excommunicated me from fellowship at C3 by method of refusing to communicate with me. Why am I excommunicated?

Without a doubt, the clientele at that venue would be accurately described as mostly persons living in the fringe of Christian identity. Some of the persons acknowledged to me that they were not Christians. I am a real Christian, and I am seeking opportunities to meet and communicate with other authentic Christians. Threrefore, iConnection is not the social venue that fits my profile interest.

C3 Church mainly operates through Connect groups. There are various connect groups for singles, married, and special interest groups. If you would like more information about Connect groups, so you can meet more people, feel free to let me know and I will introduce you to the head Connect pastor.

What I personally can introduce you to, which is not created by C3 Church, but something C3 Church supports, is iConnection. If you visit iConnection on Facebook, we will notice there are over 900 members. This is a group where all the churches of Sydney get together twice a year for large social events, and have smaller events regularly, put on by the members of the group. One of our semi-annual events is happening this Saturday, 17th at the Opera Bar in Darling Harbour. Feel free to check it out on Facebook.
